The next annual Luna Lab Festival will be held from June 6-10, 2023. The 2022–23 fellows will travel to New York City to participate in five days of workshops, master classes, networking events, performances, and more, culminating in a performance of their world premiere compositions.

In May 2023 Luna Lab alumni Madeline Clara Cheng (2020-21) and Caleb Palka (2017-18) will travel to Bergen for workshops with young female and nonbinary Norwegian composers, led by mentor Therese Ulvo. In addition, both Maddie and Caleb will have their works premiered on festival concerts.

Congratulations to 2021–22 Luna Lab fellow Alicia Erlandson, who was just awarded the 2022 G. Schirmer Prize for Luna Composition Lab for her string quintet “Windowpane.”
