Alicia Erlandson (age 18) is a flutist and composer from Detroit, Michigan. She’s played the flute since age 10 and began composing in early March of 2020. Her work has been performed at multiple festivals, including MATA Jr., Wildflower Composers, and the Great Plains Composers Workshop with the Bergamot Quartet, Elisa Sutherland and Arlen Hlusko, and a soloist from the Wichita Symphony Orchestra. She has studied with Michael Maiorana, Flannery Cunningham, Gabrielle Herbst, and Dawn Norfleet. Alicia is a freshman at Mannes School of Music pursuing a B.M. in music composition.
